Paul Kennedy

Paul Kennedy is a management consultant, coach and speaker who has spent his working career in the technology industry. His educational background includes an undergraduate science degree (Physics/Math), an MBA from Queen's University in Canada, and postgraduate study in marketing at Harvard.

Paul joined IBM Canada in the 1960's as a Systems Engineer, and then moved to a consulting firm while obtaining his certification as a management consultant. He has since been named a Fellow of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.

He spent 15 years in various management positions with Canada's largest computer services organization, and another 10 as President of International Data Corporation (Canada), the largest consulting and market research company focussed on info-tech markets.

Paul now heads Kennedy Management Partners Ltd., a small consulting firm helping technology-based companies understand and exploit their markets. He also is engaged in coaching and mentoring of executives in these companies. And he is asked to speak on topics usually related to the newer technologies.

Volunteer work fills much of Paul Kennedy's remaining time, some with a social service organization, L'Arche, some with the consulting industry association, and some with Toastmasters. He and his wife Mary have three children and six grandchildren.
