Robert Papes

As a General Manager, Bob engineered five consecutive business turnarounds in industrial organizations ranging from $15 to $35 million in annual sales with up to two hundred & fifty employees. Bob has also previously had extensive financial management experience including being a division controller for a $100+ million division of a Fortune 500 company. Currently, as a consultant, Bob’s broad business experience has enabled him to help turnaround small struggling businesses. He has helped over seventy small businesses improve their bottom lines.
As an author, Bob has had two books published; “Turnaround” in 2002 and “Management During an Economic Crisis” in 2010. Bob currently writes a weekly column for the Hendersonville, NC Times-News entitled “Money Matters”. He has put on numerous seminars for the Hendersonville & Brevard Chambers of Commerce as well as for Blue Ridge Community College. He is a member of the Hendersonville Chamber’s Small Business committee.
